February 16th to February 22nd

Wow what a week for everyone! I am happy that you got both our letters. We get a long so well! Ok for my hip. I am currently on crutches and the doctor says i need to rest well half weight for a month. He prescribed Just ibuprofen, and some weak pain killers. I am still in pain. I am going back on friday for an MRI. He says i might still have a stress fracture, a lebral tear. President has been tlaking to the mission office about it. I am not sure if i need you to call yet. If i do i will email you from riitta's computer after i make the phonecall. I tried telling the doctor about the shots and the steriods but its a no go! I will call my president today on what doctor Rich prescribed. But i am going to need you to send them too me! YOu are going to need to hide them. I dont think finland has the steriod pills.Elder Gandola with the cast just got sent back to the MTC for 3 months!! He is the first in the world. He will be working in the Referal center and than come back in 3 months! So it was a shock to me this morning! I had a rough and good night last night! For the past couple of weeks i havent had any feelings in my prayers. I try to be sincre as possible but man nothing. Than our district leader called and said some BULL CRAP comment about my hip, which got me really bad. Saying something like the crutches i am gonig to use as as an excuse! I aM NOT WEAK, i dont use anything as an excuse when i had braces you didnt see me mopping around! I went into the bathroom and prayed my heart out! Yep just crying and expressing to the lord my hurt and how i need his comforting spirit at this time! It felt good. I did feel his love and his comforting spirit around me. I still didnt feel what would happen with my hip but i know whatever does happen it will be for the best! The lord will always take care of us! i know that for a fact. It is good to just BARE your whole heart to the lord sometimes to have him take aways the sorrows! I am strong and always postive! Life is great, and when i at times get down i dont have to look to far to see that someone has it worst than me!

This week went by way to fast! We had Zone Conference and Elder Kopishca came from the Qurom of the 70. and we had a question and answer time! I asked him how do we truly let go of the things and just dive in, He said some great things! I really enjoyed this ZC alot. Than i had the doctors appointment! So we stayed the night in Turku. We came back home. And had a teach with WANG on saturday so we prepared it all day and than we went over there had an amazing Teach! And asked him to be baptized on the 7th of march! Its incredible! Its so sweet to have so much sucess through the lord! People told me i would be lucky to maybe have one if that. But through the power of the lord and the holy spirit we have proved them wrong! I am always postive and know where ever missionaries are is a baptizing mission! ! Its the work of the lord! Janae our baby is so cute! I just want to hold her and kiss her she is adorable!!! Can you believe just 4 weeks ago she was with our heavenly father speaking talking and hugging him. now you for sure have a precious gift in your hands!! Charle a new car wow look at you gooooo!! i have some new aditions but it makes me slower than faster haha! Any word on moving to Oregon Little is stoked if you went there and so i Robinson cause they are both from there! This change has gone by way to fast in 12 days we recieve another change phone call! MAN i dont want to leave Little but i think that rauma is the worst place for me to be with my hip and all! But its like he said we all have Golden changes and when we go home our Golden changes is what made our missions!! So cool because you meet some of your greatest friends on the mission!!! Dad i am sorry you dont like Finnish Chocolate your just a weird man haah! Does everyone else like it or should i just stop buying it all together and not send it home! Andy Reids daughter wrote me a letter it was really nice of her! I wrote her back and sent it today! Dad she said that you missed out on a HOLY CANNOLI haha i cant believe it! She said her ACL is doing good and she is really enjoying BYU. The weather is still Snowy and cold! Maybe i'll ask the doctor if going to SAuna would be better for my hip! i would be the first missionary ever to get prescribed sauna i would be the most wanted companion cause than my comps could join me!!! I am learning from PREach my gospel so much! i have been diving into the Christ Like Attributes in chapter 6 wow faith and hope alone has taken me a whole week searching the scriptures and knowing what we have to do to obtain it and also what we hope for! Duh eternal life with our father in heaven. Dad, thanks for the handwritten letter i hope to get it soon, MOM get your butt moving just like on the TREDMil haha DO WORK GIRL!!! I am happy and super postive abuot life. I like life that i'm living i like the wine that i am drinking WHY???? BECAUSE I LIKE LIFE! UUUUMMMPAAAPPPA TRALLAALLAA!!! NAME THAT MOIVE!!! SCROOOOOGGGEEEE!!!

YEs Correct until next week dad i will let you know what will be going on with the doctors!!! I love you so very much and wish eveery body to be happy! Cause life is great!!! I know it is and it will be like that forever if we live the gospel to the fulless and abide by our covenants!!!

February 9th to February 15th

Wow what a week for the caffaro family eh. Dropping some well needed money, to places that really needed it. Dad I am stoked that you bought some new T.V's that is way sweet. To bad I still have a long time til I am back at home. But its all good. I am glad you finally updated. We had the BIG BLACK BOX FOR AGES!!!!! haha. Man I would love to see my little cousins ball it up! I am way stoked to come home and get schooled by them! It sounds like when we listen to the spirit we truly get blessed. It feels real good huh mom!!? I wish it happened more in Finland. Like Stop Elder Caffaro Turn right, yes now go down this alley way and you'll find a family that really needs the gospel!!!! hahaha YEAH right haha doesn't happen to much. If we go down an alley way there are a bunch a drunks haha. But I will wait be patience and always be ready for the spirit to whisper.

Dad man I am sorry about you gout man that really sucks! I cant say I have ever felt the pain but I know the our Savoir has. Your not in it alone. You have me and the whole rest of the family too. Keep striving! Its one of those trials that will makes us stronger. Bless your receiving blessing along the way. Isn't that weird. Ok I talked to Germany and the President and his wife. I don't need surgery yet. They are taking me to get to a doctor, to prescribe me some really strong pills. I think something like Indomethosin. Dad isn't that something you take. And some other pills. And if these don't work than we just keep moving forward for the next step. I feel much better about things and I know surgery is not the answer now! So everything is really ok now. Just need to get some medicine.

So now we have been helping out with coaching basketball and just filling in when they need an extra guy! So they players start talking to us, and one was really interested. And that day already we have given away 2 B.O.M and so I told him actually I have a book that will really help you learn more about us. It was really cool than he kept asking so many questions during practice. About what if a missionary falls in Love. Does he go home and get punished. What if you finish you mission do you get rewarded. It was fun to talk more about us. People know were mormon missionaries but they don't really know us or what we do. Man helping coach sports here is really an amazing thing. You meet so many people, and it's also a way to keep sane!!! haha

Thursday Elder Little had warts taken out of his foot! We were in the hospital from 8-3 wow long time being along haha It felt really weird. But I just talked to all the nurses and doctors that went by and it was fun but I almost wanted to shoot myself. Riitta came and visited us and said Have you looked at the news paper yet? No why? Cause your in it again. Sure enough there was a big article again about me and a huge picture and a paragraph that mentioned Elder little helping out now! It was cool. We went home and got ready for basketball. Little had to sit out and watch he hated it but he had giant holes on his foot! I was sad the guy that I gave the Book of mormon to was there at practice!

Friday We had a DA with the Bishop man I love that family. His wife brought out socks on a platter and said Happy Valentines day! It was so funny! Little went home and slept he didn't feel good I cleaned read. Than we jump on a bus to Turku.

Saturday was district meeting it was way fun. The doctor from germany called and told this other elder he was going home. 2 weeks a go he fractured his foot. There has been 3 missionaries go home since I have been here! Jolley is home dad did u know that? But than later that night President Brown called and said no one was going home and was mad that the germany doctor called us! We went to a Hockey Game with a contact man those games are so fun in the first two periods and in the third period I just want to get the heck out of there haha. I can only take so much hockey!

Nothing to exciting happened. Oh we were in the bus station and a Drunk came up to us and said. Are you from America! we said yes than in English he said Happy Valentines Day. It was so funny. Sorry its short I want to write the siblings there own emails. Dad I hope all is better for you soon. Mom good work on listening to the spirit. Yeah I know he has had a rough life! I have heard the stories its sad. Yeah Christine is dating Todd, Elder little's Trainer! man it is a small world. I love you guys and I am always striving to be much better than the day before. Ed. J. Pinegar said BE the best You. Now that's fantatic!!!!

Elder Caffaro

February 2nd to February 8th

Hey family! thanks so much for the emails it really helped me alot. Things are doing a lot better! I just had a really hard night the night I talked to you dad. Cause my hip was hurting and what the bishop said to me. So it was just scary. Because I have come way to far in the mission. Into learning the language and loving these people. It was just hard to think about it. I think I jumped to things quickly. Cause there are for sure ways to get around surgery for another year. So dad I don't think calling the mission president yet is good. Cause they haven't even seen the X-rays yet. So I think I gave you guys the head start. So thank you so much for your prayers and everything that you have all done for me! My hip is doing ok I can walk just it hurts at times.

But something that has really helped me during this hard trial, is what an amazing week we had! we were none stop. We got all of our hours in. We gave 3 books of mormon away each day of the week! We got 12 come backs for all of this week! It was unreal. My finnish is doing good! Its not perfect and everytime I open my mouth mistakes do come out of it, but I can communicate the gospel of jesus Christ. I can give a book of mormon and tell how much it has helped my life and it can bless there life! That's what I need my language for, I don't want it to do anything else with it. Cause lets be honest when am I ever going to use finnish again in my life. Only 5 million people speak this language. I want to learn it to better the lords kingdom. So people can truly come closer to Christ.

The hard day I was having was Saturday. But it was a special day also. We wake up and go to football practice because its there Football camp. They were dressed in full pads and it wasn't anything to look at. People kicking the helmets. Smoking before practice. It is way different here than what it is like in America that is for sure. We leave and go home and go to the bishop's house for Lunch. He knows bones and joints. So he looked at my X-rays and said it looks like they need to shave the left hip so its more round! I was like WHAT no way and than he said the other way is the brake the hip and put a completely new hip in there. Again I was like no way. It was really hard to hear all this. It sucked big time that's why I think I was jumping to things because those are the only 2 things he said! Se after we have a teach with our Wang friend. Elder little is a lot like me and loves to talk. We didn't really plan out the teach so it was hard for me to get a word in. After the teach we get into a huge argument and it was pretty bad. We than talked about it and made up and I think even best friends are going to get into fights when they are living with each other 24/7. It was good experience for the both of us. Yeah mom I have studs as companions I am shooting 50% percent right now 2/4 haha. After we went to Yoga with the bishop and 4 non members it was at the church. FREak I think Yoga made me more so than ever that's for sure. I couldn't do half the stretches because of my hip but it was all good. Tracted for an hour and Gave 3 books of mormon away it is crazy. ME and elder Kelley never did that. I think with the right combination things can happen. We come home and I just start crying for some reason just thinking about my hip and everything. Cause I started to write you dad and mom a letter and the water works came. I went over and talked to riitta and jouni. And than after Elder little gave me a blessing which was an amazing blessing. After he gave me a hug and says Wow man the lord knows you're a special spirit and now I know you're a special spirit. It was really cool to hear.

I am not so much sure I have anything more. Other than the work is being blessed so greatly. Me and Little are doing the Work and having so much fun with it. My hip is not going to stop me from accomplishing what the lord has asked of me. I am strong I have the lord to rely on and always through those hard times he carries me and all of us. Through thick and thin. Charle you say you have had some hard times man chuck THEY ARE great huh?? They only make us stronger throughout our life. I know in the heat and moment of all things they SUCK trust me I am having one right now but as we look into the future which is basically impossible for us humans to see the our Father's plan for us, we'll know everything does happen for a reason. But it is how we endure those hard times. If we do rely on the lord and put our trust in him. We all go through hard times. Ej jr. has had them Dad is having them right now which man dad I am really sorry your gout is not going away. Mom has had them with work. But we always come over conquer. We always come on top because we have the gospel of the LORD JESUS CHRIST. We are apart of a royal generation. We do have the upper hand in all things cause we know there is a plan of happiness. I think our family is on that path we all made it to temple together. We are striving to fulfil each commandment. I love this gospel and how it truly blesses lives. We can bless lives by sharing and that is what I am doing. I love you guys and I know I will keep you udated for sure!!! Promise. Let me know also what the specialist say about the X-rays. The SHOTS Sound a whole heck of a lot better!!!

Elder Caffaro

January 26th to February 1st

Superbowl huh man that would have been fun to watch that's for sure! Were there any good commercials this year! Dad there are no land lines in finland but I guess I can find one somewhere where ever I might be! Sorry that it cost so much! Don't hate me hahaha!!! No I haven't gotten your package yet or any letters so I am still waiting to hear from ya guys! Sorry last week was so dang crazy but it was a great week. I am so happy everything is Amazing with my little niece and my sister NADER haha That's always good news to a brothers heart.

So let me start off with the week. Monday (26^th) we went around town getting last minute things for Kelley. We came home and he packed and I still wasn't feeling good so I took a nap while he packed! Than we went and hung out with Riita and Jouni for a while I got my Vitamin Light ON hahah and she made us Hot Chocolate and Pulla. They are amazing people! I love them with all my heart and soul!! They took super good care of me on Sunday!

We than went over to Jaadia's and Mika's house to eat and teach and let Kelley say good bye. So while he was burning Cd's I was watching all the church Cartoon videos. Like David and Goliath and Moses! It was fun!

Tuesday at 8 in the morning we had to catch a bus to Pori! So Kelley could be with Elder Heelis and I had to be in a three some for a day and a half waiting for elder little! So We drop elder Heelis's companion off at the train station. Than we went food shopping! Me and Elder Heelis made the best food you could think of!!! Mom you would be so proud of me! I am a little cook now! We go around contacting people in Pori, came back home and played Monopoly, Yep I won again. Elder Kelley got really mad and wanted to quit. Heelis said just finish the game and Kelley said Why so Caffaro's head can get even bigger. I handle it well and didn't say much. haha but through out the night I would mention it. He kept on saying he was sorry. Man I am happy with CHANGE!!!!! I was also a little bored so I trimmed my legs haha I have pictures of that don't worry haha!!

Little finally comes and he is wearing this crazy Russian hat. I was laughing pretty hard. That's when we emailed and he unpacked and we just talked and got to know eachother! I am so sad. Because I know that this change is going to fly by cause were going to have so much fun! I hope we get at least 2 changes together! I can't believe how fast time is going it is insane!

What a sweet sweet day! We got to go to the temple with some ward members! It was a three hour drive. But well worth it! The Pori elders came with us also. I love going to the temple. Right when I walk into the Celestial room I feel my fathers love for me so strong! And as I look up at the chandelier I got a huge smile on my face and know how much I am loved! Me and little and Heelis had a fantastic discussion about the last days and all that fun stuff! Than we travelled to Hyvinkää where this none member heard that some friends were close. So we went and gave a blessing to a really sick baby it was so cool to be apart of that. That night me and Little went for a run with Waldo. Riita's dog. Man me and Little will be getting into some fantastic shape that's for sure! And after I did some jump roping with a weighted jump rope. Lets just say that's is going to have to take some practice before I can get it down.

Friday of course was your birthday DAD!!! 49 now that is crazy!!! We went into Café Sali. It's a really nice salad bar. 2 ward members work there. So I introduced them to Elder Little. And Jarna gave us salads and cheesecake and hot Coco! She is the best. In this place you just leave your dishes on the table and they will come pick them up. But me and Little went around to each table and picked everyones dishes and brought them to be cleaned. People were just staring at us in our White shirts. An older lady went up to another member and said who are these boys they are so handsome I could stare at them for hours. They should do it with there shirts off haha It was so funny. WE were laughing pretty hard.

Saturday we met some polish people tracting! They let us in and we spoke for 2 hours! I showed when I opened my mission call on my video! And we got there number and are going back!!! We had a teach with Wang he is from china and we are really close to getting him baptized its just a little harder cause he has not heard of such things really! Than we went to eat Kebab! That is the last time I will ever eat Kebab

Sunday morning around 3 am I started throwing up big time!! So much food and everything! I was hurting big time!! SO elder little gave me a blessing! so I went back to bad not even an hour later I was throwing up again! I shut the door so little didn't wake up this time! I threw up 7 times all through out the day! Riitta and elder Little took such good care of me!! He cleaned the whole house! I felt really bad cause we couldn't go to church but I was dying! The bishop came over and helped with my pains. He gave me another blessing in Finnish! Talk about freakin awesome! he gave me some medicine! It is truly a blessing where we live! How much riitta and and I have become such good friends and how much she took care of me like a mother! They don't want much with the church right now but soon I hope so! But I am so happy everyone is healthy wealthy and wise!!! And One year older and haha Me and Elder little have so much fun! we joke around during doors while tracting we are so much alike its amazing! I am so blessed to have so many great things in my life, and been able to grow up with such an amazing family and friends!!!!
